Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 15 May 2025
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Maju (sole proprietorship), No. 8, Jalan Dato Bandar Tunggal, 70000 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia ("we", "us") and any person or business ("you") who engages our services or uses this website.
By submitting an enquiry, agreeing to a package, or using our website, you accept these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. Services
Maju provides AI integration consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses, primarily in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Our current service packages are:
- Orientation Workshop (RM 610) — A single on-site session and written summary. No further obligation arises from this package.
- Guided Implementation (RM 1,350) — Approximately one month of hands-on setup, staff walkthrough, and check-ins for one agreed tool.
- Long-Term Companion Plan (RM 2,290) — A multi-month advisory arrangement with monthly calls and WhatsApp access, paused or ended at any time without penalty.
The scope of each engagement is confirmed before work begins. Any changes to an agreed scope will be discussed and agreed in writing before we proceed.
2. Engagement and Agreement
An engagement begins when both parties have confirmed the scope, package, and start date — either by email, WhatsApp message, or signed document. We do not require a formal written contract for the Orientation Workshop, but we do confirm scope and pricing in writing before attending.
For the Guided Implementation and Long-Term Companion Plan, we issue a brief scope summary prior to starting. Your confirmation of that summary (by email or message) constitutes agreement to proceed.
3. Payment
- All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment for the Orientation Workshop is due in full before the session date.
- Payment for the Guided Implementation is split: 50% before work begins, and 50% upon completion of the final review session.
- Payment for the Long-Term Companion Plan is made monthly in advance. The first payment is due before the scope agreement call.
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer and selected e-wallet payments.
If a payment is delayed without notice, we may pause the engagement until the outstanding amount is settled. We will always communicate before taking this step.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Orientation Workshop: You may reschedule at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may forfeit the booking fee at our discretion.
- Guided Implementation: If you cancel after work has begun, you are responsible for a fair portion of the fee proportional to the work completed. We will agree this with you at the time.
- Long-Term Companion Plan: You may pause or end the arrangement at any time. No additional charges apply after the current month's payment. We do not charge cancellation fees on this plan.
5. Intellectual Property
All written materials, reference cards, and summaries we prepare specifically for your engagement are yours to use freely for your own business purposes once payment has been received in full.
Our general methods, templates, and proprietary approaches remain our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or resell them without our written permission.
Any business information, documents, or materials you share with us remain your property. We will not use them for any purpose other than delivering your engagement.
6. Liability
We take care to provide accurate, thoughtful recommendations. However, the adoption of any AI tool involves decisions that remain yours as the business owner. We are not liable for:
- Business outcomes arising from decisions made on the basis of our recommendations
- Errors, downtime, or data issues caused by third-party tools we recommend
- Any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services
Our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any matter that cannot be limited by law.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all business information you share with us as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except where required by law, or where you have given us explicit permission. We expect the same discretion from you regarding any internal materials or methods we share during an engagement.
8. Conduct
We expect all engagements to be conducted with mutual respect. We reserve the right to end an engagement without refund if a client acts in a way that is abusive, threatening, or unlawful toward our team. In such cases, we will provide written notice of termination.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from an engagement shall first be addressed through mutual discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to the appropriate courts of Malaysia, with jurisdiction in Negeri Sembilan where applicable.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your engagement is the one in effect at the time your scope is confirmed. We will update the "Last Updated" date whenever we make material changes.
